Biennial Diaspora Conference set for Ocho Rios - News - Go-Jamaica


The foreign affairs ministry will be taking the biennial Diaspora Conference to Ocho Rios, St Ann this year instead of Kingston. 

Between 700 and 800 Jamaicans living overseas are expected to attend the three-day conference scheduled for June 15-17.

It has been over 2 years.

I started this blog when I went on "maternity leave" and I basically abandoned it when the reality of baby and not enough time in the day hit. I am back. A lot has changed in the past couple of years but the one thing that endures is my love for Jamaica and my pangs of nostalgia ever so often. Jamaica has gone through a lot since 2008 and I have a lot of catching up to do. In addition to motherhood, I also discovered Facebook and that became an outlet for sharing news and discussing issues in short snippets. I was delighted today when I received a notification from Blogger of their new feature that allows me to incorporate the social media in my blog and vice versa. So here is a relaunch. I will try to keep up as I reach out to all Jamaicans. I hope that you will also reach out to me with your comments and views. ~Peace~
